Hey everybody.
So I want to talk about something awesome today and it is really 10 years of experience summed up.
What is this 10 years of experience of walking with the Lord and understanding who is? of digging into his word and being ministered to and giving my all to follow who he is in my life.
If i were to name it, it would be the ultimate fallacy of a radical.
A lot of the people you know could look at a Bible believer or somebody who serves the Lord or follow Jesus as their first love as a radical.
And they do so rightly because ultimately to them, a radical is somebody who takes something to the extreme and as a holy spirit baptized believer, we are to take it to the extreme.
Jesus specifically said in revelation, “I wish you’d either be hot or cold but because you’re lukewarm, i will spit you out.
There is a big misunderstanding in the body of Christ where you have these Christians that are just “Christians” by name.
That is not the Christianity that you want the Bible.
Second peter 3 vs 9 specifically says that those people think that Jesus is slow in fulfilling his promise and what they don’t know is that he’s faithful and patient. Not wishing that any would perish but all would come to repentance.
Because, the message of the gospel is understanding and following who the Lord is, by the word of God, and then being led by the Lord.
In order to really get into this, i want to go out of john 14. It says ” Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so , I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
[5] Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
[7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
so essentially, Jesus is explaining to his disciples, he said listen, “I’m leaving. i’m going to go prepare a place for you in heaven. There are many mansions and you’re going to come and be with me.”
The disciples say but “Lord how do we get there?”
Jesus answered, “i am the way, the truth and the life. No man can come to the father except through Jesus ”
So there is a confrontational pattern that happens here.
When we’re proclaiming an ultimate truth of no one, there’s no other name under heaven by which man might be saved but by the name of Jesus.
The Bible clearly states that is appointed for man to die once and then judgment.
Romans 1 vs 20 says that since the creation of the world, people have seen the earth and the sky and all the invisible attributes of God, sto they’ll have no excuse when they’re at judgment.
People will say only God can judge them and he will but the ultimate pleasure in God’s judgment is the understanding and the acceptance of Jesus. that through Jesus and through accepting him
We can then take on that judgment that Jesus has already paid for.
As you minister and move in the will of God for your life, as you allow the him to lead you, you wikk start doing things that God loves — like preaching his word, living in holiness, under him, and submitted to him.
On the outside , unbelievers looks at you, mock you, scoff and augh at you
Psalm 1says “blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor stand in the way of sinners nor sit at the seat of scoffers.”
Blessed is the man who does not take part in their ignorance and futility because they’re full of envy and hate.
God beckons us to come. He says “listen, come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and i will give you rest. Take my yoke
upon you, for my burden is light and my yoke is easy.
we have to come to God understand that he is all we need, the ultimate sacrifice in the cross and in resurrection.
You have to accept these things by faith and according to john 14, only the father can allow somebody to accept that.
so as a believer, it’s very important to not get into foolish arguments.
Let’s keep reading, in john 14 vs 6:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
[7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. [8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then , Shew us the Father?
[10] Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
[11] Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
[12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
[13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
[14] If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
Here, Jesus was explaining to philip that he was serving the father, he was in the father and will continually seeking the father.
Be careful right as Christians and believers not be let your projection go on to somebody else.
You want to be careful not to pass your convictions. If you want to preach the full counsel of God (Acts 20).
It’s by grace, it is a free gift and a lot of unbelievers don’t understand that.
Those unbelievers and individuals who have not accepted the Lord and have not humbled themselves, the Bible says “God gives grace to the humble but he opposes the proud.”
“Humble yourself and i will lift you up”
The individuals that don’t do those thing, don’t know God because they are living in pride.
They are living in arrogance and that is what’s going to happen.
John 14:15-16:
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
This is very important. If you love God, obey his commandments.
Psalm 119:1-3:
“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord .
[2] Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
[3] They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.”
The Bible says from verse 4:
“Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
[5] O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
[6] Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
How do you get out of the things that you shouldn’t walk in?
You have to receive the gift of God. you have to say:
Lord give me your spirit
Lord open my heart Lord
search my heart if there be any wicked way in me remove it.
That is the ultimate gift, it is the anointing that breaks every yoke.
That is how you get to the next level inyour life, in your business, and in your marriage.
You need to get out of trying to do efforts yourself. Get out of trying to say, i’m doing better but understand that God is making me better.
Only the righteous will see God.
How do we become righteous? By asking the Lord.
He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities and as by his stripes we are healed.
That’s a gift. We have to humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and that’s how we get to that next level.
That is how our life, our marriage, family and our business grows.
Psalm 1 vs 3 speaks of the man that doesn’t walk in the way of the sinners, scoffers and all these individuals that are futile in God’s mind but rather their delight is in the law of the Lord and on his law they meditate day and night.
We need to meditate day and night. Verse 3 says that whatever he does, he will prosper and in every season he’ll bear fruit.
if you want to bear fruit, if you’re sick of being beaten down, you’re sick of always feeling like stuff is slipping out of your hands, you need to repent for trying to do it within your own effort.
you will say, “Lord forgive me for trying so hard to do this in my own effort, give me a vision, give me understanding, give me grace and mercy to do it your way because man numbers his steps but the Lord guides his path.”
We can have all these steps, plans and ideas that we think about but ultimately God leads us and that’s why you’re reading to this article and that is why i’m preaching.
you should go where God leads you and in the going is where the blessing is.
Lay down the the sin, burdens and baggage, don’t labor in vain.
Understand that God loves you. He wants to bless you.
God has blessed you and you need to receive that blessing and say “yes Lord.”
This where the relationship begins. It begins in the “yes Lord, help me, here i am, send me and i’ll go.”
That is how you overcome the scoffers. That is how you overcome the people who may call you a radical.
You’re a radical, accept what you are for God and be blessed in that acceptance.
Understand that you don’t have to prove anything to anybody. You don’t have to try to make yourself great, awesome or mighty or anything like that.
All you do is you preach the word of God
and you live. Don’t just be hearers of the word but be doers and in your doing you’ll be blessed.
