Hello, this is Malachi.

I want to do a special series really because I know a lot of you asked me about:

Evangelism,

The most effective way to evangelize and,

What exactly is evangelism to a believer.

I have a four-part series that we’re going to compile for you. They will be broken down into four different sections which will go over different parts of evangelism, the working of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, the anointing and exactly what the anointing is for, and where do we as believers fit into the whole puzzle of what evangelism is, and what is the great commission to go and make disciples of all nations.

At first, we are going to talk about Holy Ghost evangelism.

But before that, It is really important we learn a few things. The first one says “The Anointing breaks the yoke.”

If you are desiring to be used in the ministry, flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to lead people to christ, it is important that our hearts are right.

There is a there’s a lot of things that we can look at. So the main thing is “do we accept Jesus as our Lord and saviour?”

If the answer is yes, perfect.

If the answer is no, then we have to say this now especially if you’re new and you just kind of stumbled across this article.

You can say; “Lord, forgive me my sins.

Thank you for dieing on the cross for for my salvation. I believe in you in faith that I can now serve you, love and be loved by you.

That is really the the salvation. It is simple. It is not meant or designed to be difficult or hard.

The things of the spirit are meant to be easy and the Bible put it as “they are so simple that the wise men of the world would say that they are foolish.”

There are reasons for that and we’re going to get into it.

The first thing is making sure that you’re walking with the Lord and you’re not living in any unrepentant sin.

If you are, you can say “Lord forgive me of any unrepentant sin or this is what my sin is, I repent to you in Jesus name.

The next thing is very important. Is to understand that you don’t have any unforgiveness towards yourself or anybody else.

If you do, say:

“Lord forgive me for having unforgiveness towards this person or that person. I choose to release them to you in faith in Jesus name.

The three main things you just say are:

1) You understood if you are a saved believer. We just said the salvation prayer just asecond ago. Now you are walking according to the Lord.

2) You are not living in any unrepentant sin meaning you’re not deliberately going tothis ‘thing’ over and over again. And if you are, you just said a prayer to ask for forgiveness, now you’recompletely free.

3) The third is you’re not living in any unforgiveness.

Part one – Continued Renewal of Your Mind

So through this series, we will called this particular one Continued Renewal of your mind. We’re going to talk about the continued renewal of your mind.

Why is it important as a believer to be used effectively in the ministry, as an evangelist or to do with the work of an evangelist?

It is important to have a continued renewal of your mind.

So let us go over to the next thing and it’ll bring us to our first chapter which we’re going to go through.

We are going to read it, talk about it, learn from it and then the Lord is going to download.

As you go through this with me and as we talk about this, just be open, be receptive, be receiving and then the anointing will download those truths to you.

Ephesians 3:1-2 ;

“For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

[2] If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward”

Right off the bat, I’m assuming am talking to the assumption that you know God. Prior to this, what we just went through now means you are adopted into the the childhood as a servant, as a friend and as a son or a daughter of the Lord.

Ephesians 3:3-7 ;

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

[4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

[5] Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

[6] That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

[7] Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.”

What is happening is Paul is explaining “listen, I’m assuming you know God this blessing has been given to the jews and the gentiles to show the truth and the faithfulness of the Lord.

Ephesians 3:8 ;

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.”

The great thing about the Lord is when we understand and have the mindset through this article of evangelism and how to reach the lost.

Who are the lost? They are people the don’t have that peace and assurance of heaven.

These people that may be struggling in life, may have lack or they may be poor and just destitute.

They really want “hey, where is my help.” They don’t have any help.

That’s what evangelism is. it’s preaching the gospel, the good news of “hey, this is who Jesus is this is and what he has done for you.”

Ephesians 3:8;

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

So there is treasure in Christ. That is a key point we must understand when we preach.

hen we go to others, we’re sharing a treasure, okay?

Ephesians 3:9 KJV

“And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ”

It’s important to understand that he says “I was chosen.”

Many are called,few were chosen.

The best way to describe it is to imagine the Lord standing at point A. There is a whole multitude of crowds going this way, away from him and he says “hey, come to me.”

All of them are called but then, 12 turns around and say “Hey I will follow you.”

Even though there was 100 of them that were walking away, 12 of them turned around.

Many are called, few are chosen and Paul was saying here that he was chosen.

A lot of the times, we get we get confused and I want to clear the confusion up.

If you’re still here, desiring to be led by the spirit of God, hear his voice and walk in the anointing, power and the authority that he has given every believer, to win souls, to evangelize, to move in the gifts.

Jesus performed miracles. He raised the dead, he had the lame walk,  the mute talk, he had the death hear and the blind see. if these are things that you want to move and you want to walk in what Jesus says:

“That these works you will do and even greater than than me you’ll do”

If that is what you want and you say “Lord I want to be used effectively by your spirit and that is true evangelism”, then you were chosen.

So you got a purpose in your heart, “yes I’m chosen because it is by faith.”

Ephesians 3:10 ;

“To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God”

Here, Paul is talking now about authorities in the heavenly places and you’re talking about angels and demons and things that oppress or depress believers or non-believers, okay?

Ephesians 3:11-13;

“According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

[12] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

[13] Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.”

It is very important when we receive the blessing of the lord and when we come to him.

Now we are able to, by righteousness of whobJesus is, come boldly and confidently before him.

That is very important to understand because you don’t want to come to a God that you’re serving cowering in fear.

The bible says very plainly that perfect love drives out fear, so he who fears has not been made perfect in love yet.

But you are going to continue moving glory to glory and perfected and that is our hope and dream.

God is not finished with any of us yet. He is not finished with you, he not finished with me and as we purpose to do these things that we’re speaking of, we will we will grow and prosper.

We’re going to go right to Ephesians 4:17.

“This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

[18] Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:”

This is extremely important. In order to come to a perfect and humble God, we have to humble ourselves — God gives grace to the humble and he opposes the proud.

That is why  when you go and share the good news of who the Lord is, not everybody will be receiving.

Not everybody received Jesus, as a matter of fact they killed him. And Jesus says I lay my life down you.

Don’t take it from me because he is the ultimate sacrifice but nonetheless that these people, the pharisees and all these individuals that were so full of religion.

And by religion, what iy mean is trying to strive, to do something, to make yourself better right?

To say “hey, if I could just do this, I’m going to be better and I’m going to be used more by God.”

It is not necessarily that where you’re trying to strive to keep the laws. You’re saying “Lord I’m a sinner,help me and by your grace I’m made righteous”

God spirit will lead and guide you — As many that are led by the spirit of God, those are children of God (That’s is in Romans 8).

When we go down to verse 19, it says:

“Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

Here is talking about people who just don’t really care about God.

When you don’t know the Lord, your life is dictated by the things of the man (your sinful nature) because you don’t have the Holy Spirit to move you into the newness of the grace.

When we come to God, we become a new creature.

It is important when we talk about christ and when we share the goodness of who he is, understand that people that don’t know the Lord, don’t know him.

It is not their fault, they just don’t know and in God’s good timing and we’ll get to it later on.

It is the spirit of God that draws believers to him, okay?

Verse 20-24 says;

“But ye have not so learned Christ;

[21] If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

[22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

[23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

[24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

That is an instruction. We have to daily throw off this old nature of walking in hate, walking in maliciousness, lies or slander and all these things.

But when we come to christ and we said a prayer before we started this, now we have the power and the authority to walk according to the ways of God, his goodness and be led by his Spirit.

That is an instruction because as long as you’re walking holy as God is holy, he will allow you to move and it’s not that you doing anything and is making you holy.

It is the fact that you’re following the Lord and you receive that grace and you repented of those sins.

Now his spirit renews you on a daily basis and that is how you then start building yourself up to receive power in order to continue to evangelize.

Remember the whole point of this post is the continued renewal of your mind.

Let’s go to verse 25.

Ephesians 4:25-28 ;

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

[26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

[27] Neither give place to the devil.

[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Be generous, be a generous giver. The believer is supposed to be generous, okay?

“Don’t use foul or abusive language”

If you got a cursing problem, say “Lord forgive me, help me, renew me, get me in, and point with who you are so I won’t be foul or abusive”

Ephesians 4:29 ;

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

These are very basic and powerful and by the spirit of God we can live them.

That is why it’s very important so write this down. Pray on this and meditate on this.

Psalm 1 says “blessed are those who meditate on the law of the lord day and night.”

In Ephesians 4:30-32;

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

[31] Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

[32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

It very important to always forgive each other. Don’t make it a spectacle of holding grudges.

You know they say holding a grudge is like drinking poison, hoping that the other person will die.

Don’t kill yourself holding grudges.

Jesus says I’ve forgiven you, you must forgive. How many times?

Well, 7 times 77 to illustrate.

Always be forgiving, even though it hurts, I understand that. ymForgive those people in your past that harmed and hurt you and you’re going to continue to be used.

This is the last section here, let’s go to romans 12.

We’ve touched on a lot about how to continually renew your mind in the spirit and this is going to put the bow on the on the present if you will.

Romans 12:1 ;

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

This is truly the way to worship him.

How can we worship God? By giving our lives and our bodies as a holy sacrifice according to Romans 12.

Romans 12:2 ;

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

A lot of the times you always want to feel like “hey, what can I do? Where do I go Lord?

According to romans 12 which we know is truth. Live your life as a holy sacrifice, perfect and pleasing to God and be transformed by the renewing of your mind. By reading the word, by praying and spending time, set time aside for the Lord as much as it depends on you to get in his presence and then you will know what his good and perfect plan is for your life.

Romans 12:3-5 ;

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

[4] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

[5] So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Notice the bible doesn’t say be honest with yourself and compare yourself with somebody else and measurethem to see how they’re doing.

It doesn’t doesn’t say that. The Bible clearly says “search yourselves and measure yourself with the faith God has given you.”

If God’s given you a vision or faith to win the lost, evangelize, do this or do that in terms of the miraculous or miracles, we’ll talk about all that stuff in another series.

But if he has told you these things, you need to measure yourself. Look at yourself and compare yourself with the faith God has given you.

Romans 12:6-8;

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

[7] Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

[8] Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

So let nobody say they don’t have a gift, everybody has a gift.

God will give you the desires of your heart, he will show you and lead you as you spend time renewing your mind on a day-to-day basis.

In patience, he will show you what gift that you have.

Romans 12:9-14;

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

[10] Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

[11] Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

[12] Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

[13] Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

[14] Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.”

How many times have you been persecuted recently? People say stuffs about you. They may lie about you and they may tell the truth about you.

Romans 12:14-16;

“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

[15] Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

[16] Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.”

Be teachable. Understand that the Lord is teaching and showing you.

Find yourself understanding that “Yes Lord, I want to learn, I want to grow be humble.”

Romans 12:17;

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Be honorable. Honor your authority, honor your pastors, honor your parents, honor your children, honor people that are above you, below you and next to you.

Romans 12:18 ;

“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”

Especially now, do not try to cause craziness. Proverbs 30 talks about that as the beating of cream produces butter or the striking of the nose produces blood so quarrels produces fights and anger and bitterness.

Don’t strive to create fights and anger and bitterness in the body.

Romans 12:19-21 ;

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

[20] Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

[21] Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

This post really focusing on renewing our mind daily and living a life laid down on consistent basis.

Every breath you take, every move you take, living it to God and saying “Lord, where will I go? what will I do?”

And as you do those things, God will begin to speak to you more and more and you’ll be able to go and grow where your calling is.

When you’re in your calling, that is when the anointing will meet you and that is when you’ll receive the power.

We are going to talk about “Walking with the renewed fire” in the next article.

As you continue to do these things and you continue to lay your life down, what happens now that we have the fire of the Holy ghost moving and living in our body?

We’re going to get in that in the next post.

Thank you so much.
